I, and my old friends, are astonished by the fact that I play games at all. It’s a quite new interest for me. The whole started with FarmVille, whitch was way fun to play with my neviews, until everything became just too much. All my crops rottened, it wasn’t any fun at all, and after a lot of struggling with my conscience I finally quite. And I am quite determined to not touch something from Zynga again.
My 2010 favourite game has been Angry Birds. I didn’t really know that I had so much antipathy and violent feelings towards Green Pigs. (Sorry pigs, don’t take it personally!)
Rovio, the Finnish producers of the Birds, also are quite profident in both how to drive interest and earn money. I wish they continue with their luck in 2011.
The game that Embla, my smallest niece, and I have passed most time with is:
Alice in Wonderland is the one game Embla always want to work with. Each time she visit me she pass a hurdle.
DoodleJump is just now and then. Specially if her brother and cousing are with her.
Itsy Bitsy is something she like to pass from time to time. It’s way simple for her, but she like it.
Amazing Race is may be more for me. I love this story. Embla hasn’t time...
Rapunzel. Embla was delighted when she found it. I bought it to her for Christmas, but forgot it.
With my collegues in Spain, the most fun we have had is with Unicorn Disco. Some of them isn’t at all so excited about social media. But when they saw @Revaliente and Toni dancing, we all laugh until we cried

Predicates in Core Data

Database programming is all about filtering and sorting tables linked to each other. According to the book Core Data , «Core Data is Apple’s object graph management and persistency framework for iOS, OS X, watchOS, and tvOS.» In a sense, predicates are an object version of the WHERE clause in SQL. Just like NSFetchRequest represent the FROM clause in SQL. I never have had problems with WHERE and FROM in SQL, but the predicate format strings in Core Data has been quite a struggle for me. I don’t think the struggle is only my fault. Predicates should clearly be thought, at least to me, as a method of writing WHERE clauses. I do, therefore the post from MakeUseOf.com by Ann Smarty did catch my interest. She explains it well, both for one-time use and how to change your firefox and chrome browser, and I just copy the one-time part: 2. Disable Google Personalization: One-Time (Browser Independent) Again, you may like the feature and the fact that Google tries to show you what you really want (your favorite sites or sites you are more likely to like on top), but in some cases you will want to see “real” results (for example, to check how your own website is doing).
