Even in crisis, Spain value quality and increase iPhone sales with 60%. Good for #app developers!

Spain is depressed, it is in a recession, it's people are loosing jobs, but still they keep buying iPhones. My heart jumped when I saw that for the nine first months of 2011, iPhone' growth was 60%. I immediately thought that Spain is preparing for coming back. 

Spain and the other South-European countries are paying high for the euro adventure of EU. Putting Andalusian and Brandenburg societies under the same umbrella could hardly work. And doesn't. Spain are paying with it's youth generation, where almost 50% is jobless. And their public services are being cut down.

In Spain the elderly and sick needs care and the youth needs jobs. If we only could unite these two needs! We could at least imagine that:

Imagine a wave of startups in health care and app-economy. Where the young angry ones take care of the elderly, helped and organized with immersive and intelligent apps, and slowly build up again what "the brick generation" has lost.

That Apple is growing even in Spain, was the spark that lit my imagination…
